Danita Lynn Biography

Danita Lynn, the youngest of six children was raised in Plamondon, a quaint northern Alberta Hamlet, founded by her great-grandfather. Danita inherited a deep love for music from her family. She credits their encouragement to be her impetus in pursuing a career in music.

Marrying early, Danita would dedicate her life to raising her children, offering to them the benefits that the family-farm provided. Hardwork and dedication, the cornerstone of farm living, is what Danita always felt kept her grounded. Music had always been in Danita’s life, and with family life now well in hand, an old calling was awakened. It was at this time that Danita realized that she wanted to pursue a career in music. So armed with a passion for writing, her commitment and determination to creat, she set to work. Pouring straight from her heart Danita would compile and produce her debut album.

Danita Lynn attributes her experience to her local community for offering the venues where she began singing with fellow groups for community functions, later leading to performing at festivals, participating in talent shows and competitions alike.

In 2001 Sakastew Productions hired Danita as harmony vocalist for country singer Priscilla Morin. She remained with the company for three years while establishing her own independent career. Danita sang at many prestigious events such as the Festival of the World Games. She has shared main stage with artists such as Prairie Oyster, The Johner Brothers, Tony Michael, Duane Steele, and Lisa Hewitt. A highlight early in Danita’s career was opening for and singing with country legend and Grand Ole Opry entertainer, George Hamilton IV.

The past few years have progressed in leaps and bounds for Danita. With the completion and release of her debut album “Wild Ride” she is actively promoting her music. Its embodiment reflects her full-bodied voice filled with sincerity emoted from this diminutive, energetic entertainer clearly felt in any of her live performances.

The groundwork she has laid through the years will no doubt set up the success Danita is surely about to receive.
